Embarrassing that like, thought the way Waghorn ran on the pitch at the end as if they just won the World Cup was pure cringe. They’d have been slaughtering them had they not got that penalty or Rotherham hung on.

It was a bit of a weird one by the few hundred fans, but clinching a play-off spot is an achievement, staying up by the skin of your teeth because another team had a points deduction is not.

They were outside the relegation zone before the match, they still were after.

Because it was more relief than anything. It’s not like we had been in the bottom 3 all season and completed a miraculous great escape. If Wycombe had stayed up today, that would have been worthy of a celebration, Derby were in the play off final two years ago and flirting with promotion on and off for a number of years.

Last year for us it was more like, right, stop p*ssing about now and get your act together.
 
If the latest rescue plan fails it is likely that football's most slippery Chairman could face financial ruin. Many observers would say that would be a well-deserved result. Whilst cheats have prospered today there might still be a day of reckoning.
 
What a weird post OP. Most of our fans would have celebrated like that had they gone down the way some folk have been obsessed with them this week, some were even happy for their own club to lose to make it happen, now thats 'cringe'.
