Derby in the Guardian

I noticed on the DCFC forum some of them have been emailing Rick Parry directly and getting a response. I’ve just emailed him addressing the concern about Derby being allowed to buy the ground back at less than £80m and whether punishment meted out to date is considered adequate.

Here’s hoping.

It appears that the majority of them are no longer blaming Gibbo for the impasse, even though the BBC and Derby Torygraph are still bandying about the mythical £45M figure.

They still blame the EFL, even though Rick Parry has been readily available for comment recently.

Apparently there's a meeting tonight with a journo and Morris, and the guardian's of the tax fraud, the Tory MPs.

Hopefully they'll finally accept where the blame lies unless Morris comes out with a load of sh1te.

Truth will out(y)
[Eventually]

Even so, Gibson will probably always be unfairly tainted by the misinformation in the minds of Derby fans for eternity.

I will never forgive Harry Rednapp, but maybe he was misquoted over and over again regarding our 3 points deduction.

Paper Tiger, Straw Man and all that.
The troops unaware it is the "enemy" giving the orders.

Received a response from RP. Very quick.

Unsurprisingly, he can’t comment on confidential matters but interestingly he said the EFL are trying be fair to all 72 clubs and to do the right thing. Arbitration to hear our claim has been set up as well.

I‘m hopeful this means further punishment / restrictions are forthcoming that will be suitable for a club that has systematically flouted the rules for a number of years.
