Derby in talks to appoint John Eustace.

Very strange! Unless he's had some kind of falling out with Blackburn's owners I can't see it happening.
Would be interesting to see what he'd be like managing a good team (not Derby) that is expected to win rather than scrap and be solid.

How about a team like Blackburn, who are above us?

Blackburn could improve. Eustace holds then back a little with his safety first tactics. That might be bad for us.

Bit strange
Read that he’s frustrated at the lack of funding but I can’t see there being much more at Derby especially if they go down

Very strange one. Has an outside chance of being a Premier League manager next year at Blackburn. I would be upset if I was a Blackburn fan.

Classic new contract move. He either goes to derby and would be on significantly more money, as they are in a do or die position, or the Blackburn owners are desperate to keep him and throw some cash his way.

No great support or plan from the Blackburn owners, I can see why it could be appealing to him. Finished his playing days there as well.
