Derby fans

Gibson is in his mid sixties. Most blokes his age are glad to have any hair at all. I'm only fifty and mine is starting to go already.

I don’t think you can compare his job to other situations especially when you potentially looking at the premier league .
The premier league doesn’t really take its full shape for teams outside the top 5or 7 .
There not much in it between teams in that area .

Rooney has done his managerial education the world of good by now waking away like many would of but he is getting paid well . He has had very little to lose reputation wise and if he keeps them up he could have Mike Ashley behind him so could well be looking at instant promotion . Their current form is one that could ultimately see them in the playoffs if not docked pts .

And this after they wrote an open letter to Boro fans and Wycombe fans asking us to contact our chairmen to request the legal action be dropped

Derby fan at work started having a go at me on a Teams call at 8am this morning. Saying how I need to have a word with Gibson and how he's responsible for everything that's going on with them 🤷‍♂️

I've never met this lad, but spoken to him every week for nearly 2 years. Its bizarre this collective view they all have.

I do think the game next month could be a bit naughty with some of their fans, if the authorities aren't all over the situation.

Another day and more anti Gibson rants on twitter. I don't even know why I keep seeing them (I guess twitter know I support Boro or something).

I've posted the odd rational reply. It usually ends with 10-20 comments slating me because if what 'my club is doing'. I mean I'm sorry but it's not me😂

They are a very defensive bunch. I think they think the whole world is against them. One sent me a link to sign a petition.... Think I'll give that a miss unless it's one to pay up lol.

Neil Warnock has more respect for Middlesbrough FC and Gibson himself than that Derby fan seems to think. I appreciate he probably isn’t representative of their entire fan base, some contrary to what we read do realise that Morris is entirely to blame for their plight. They just want the whole sorry mess over, a new owner and some hope for their future.

Rooney, for all his faults, has done a quite remarkable job and if they do stay up, and it will grate with me enormously, I would have to applaud him and his staff for overcoming all they have. I still hope they go down or it wont feel like they have been punished much. I hope Gibson comes out of this with an acceptable sum as compensation so we can all move on from this sorry saga.

Good post coluka

I've started a few threads regarding Derbys players & managements impressive performances this season, do I want them to survive, if they do they deserve to stay up but the blame should lie with the weak authorities by issuing a pathetic 9 points, unless i'm nistaken, for cheating

The snake Morris obviously thought the points deduction was worth his football club trying to cheat their way to the greed is good PL

They have had a 21 points deduction

They have had a 21 points deduction
He knows that tbf Diego, the 9 points were for the breaches of rules on ffp and I agree with him it was pathetic and imho is in no way a deterrent when you look at the riches achievable if the gamble pays off.
The other 12 were self inflicted by choosing to go into administration. They knew doing so would cause the extra 12 points and was separate to their offences.
