Dementia: Said goodbye...

Hi Roofie. So sorry to read this. I guess I've been lucky to have avoided dementia in our family so far. I've possibly experienced similar in that my mum spent the last months of her life in hospital in a coma. It was really difficult going to visit knowing that the chances of getting a response were virtually nil. I sometimes wonder if I've got over it now. Take care.
 
Sorry for you Roofie, my dear mum is far along this route - it's a slow slide into a shadow. I do love letting her haltingly read the Thomas The Tank engine books I gave her for Christmas to me. Something she never did when I were a child.
