Put a post on instagram not long ago with a picture of him training, he hasn’t done that in a long time. Also a ‘smiley’ emoji. Anyone think he could be Wilders choice of keeper? Wilder likes a keeper with good distribution and he is better than the other 2 in that aspect. Will be interesting to see what happens

Yes I noticed him in the thick of the action in that training video I put up yesterday.

I'm not saying that wasn't the case in NW's time by the way but every player should feel that the slate is wiped clean.

I'm not sure he will have made a decision after 2 training sessions but he'll certainly have a chance now, because as you say its a clean slate for everyone. It was interesting how he featured in the training photos and video yesterday, when he hasn't been seen all season.

I think we will be looking for a new keeper at the end of the season, if not before, as Wilder (and his previous GK coach) seem to have an eye for a top level keeper.

We’ve needed a decent striker and keeper for a while it would be nice to think we have two first teamers in coburn and Dejan .

He'll get a chance, which is all he can ask for.

He's already played for the U23s with Wilder watching, which is more than he managed under Warnock since January.

I posted a while back about Dejan. I think he’s a good keeper and didn’t do a huge lot wrong, in my opinion. I know training is very different. But Iv seen him on training videos a few times. And his shot stopping is outrageous at times. What i think the lower league keepers outside the Prem tend to struggle with is commanding their area. It will be very interesting to see which players wilder likes. As I can see a few of the fringe players coming back in. I don’t think it always came down to just ability with Warnock at times, it was the relationship with players and little things he liked to see with certain characters. Just my opinion of course. So we’ll see whether wilder sees something different with certain players.

A new solid keeper must be high on Scott’s list, here’s hoping they find a gem in the German second division or summat!

HE's probably a better shot stopper too

You always get player who absolutely comes in from the cold and you suddenly think 'whys he not been playing?'.

In fairness to Warnock just look at Bola and less so Dijksteel. Then he bombs out Coulson and Wing who'd been regulars.

I have no doubt one or two of the current starting 11 maybe not be fancied (although squad wise not much to play with). It's not like Daniels or Lumley are 'amazing' so may get a chance.

I honestly don’t see what Joe Lumley did so wrong. I know he cost us vs Birmingham, but for me he’s done alright otherwise.
(the Blackpool OG was not his fault)

I agree, and Daniels has only played what 2 games ? I think all 3 keepers should be given a chance It's not like we could afford the likes of Randolph these days...

I think in most games I've seen Lumely has 'got away with one'* so whilst he's been adequate and not costs us too much, against better opposition and with a harsher referee he may have. Didn't Warnock say or someone mention a requirement of his keepers is to be able to wallop it 75/80 yards fairly regularly?

* but I dare say many of the keepers we would have been shopping for in the chuck-outs bin may well also suffer from the same.

I think the distribution thing is nail on the head to be honest. High press means a high line, which means your keeper needs to be able play a bit and at times play almost as a sweeper.

Throw in the fact he's probably at least as good as the other two on other aspects of his game and I think there's a fair chance he'll be first choice for the rest of the season, unless we bring someone in in January.

From BBC Gossip......

England keeper Dean Henderson, 24, wants to leave Manchester United at the end of the season if he cannot overtake Spain stopper David de Gea, 31, as the first choice at Old Trafford. (Mail)

Nailed on we're getting a new keeper then.........

😜
