Dean Henderson

Doing absolutely nothing sat on the Utd. bench. Played one game in the League Cup that's it.

If Wilder could get this lad on loan again for half a season we'd be well in with a shout.

Get him in the Boro goal. Or bring Randolph back.

150k a week..... I'm pretty sure he's got better options. I mean don't get me wrong I'd choose Boro everyday😉

Jokes aside his career has stalled. Although signing a 3 year 150k a week deal softens the blow. Did he really think he'd be UTDs No1?

It's funny because you'd be thinking Wilder would go to a keeper he knows. Yet it's Henderson and Ramsdale so not happing. I guess it means he can pick a good one.

United have really mastered the art of wasting money.

Henderson is superb, and towards the back end of last season looked like he would be United's no.1.

He missed the start of the season due to Covid and De Gea has recaptured his form and looks back to his best.

I doubt Sheff Utd are paying Hendersons full wages, probably less than half. They will send him back in January, so then United need to find a new suitor, and again they'll be lucky to rake in 50k/week for about 20 weeks work. It'd be 1mill to loan him for the second half the season, roughly.

He's not at Sheffield United.
He's at Manchester United, sat on the bench.

He'd be a fantastic signing for any team in the Championship but it's not going to happen, not least because of the wages but I'd guess because of his own ambitions.

ah, misread an earlier post. Still, needs to be out playing

Cardiffdaffs
Everton lost £26m on Bolasie, £20m on Walcott, £19m on Schneiderlin, £16m on Niasse, £13m on Williams, £12m on Klaasen, £11m on McCarthy, £6m on Kone (without wages and agents)
That wipes out the £47m they made on Stones, the £44m they made on Lukaku, the £19m on Gueye and £15m on Barkley

They have made another £25m on Vlasic, Lookman, Delofeu combined.

But they face massive further losses on the fees paid for Sigurdsson (£44.5m), Tosun (£20.3m), Mina (£27.2m)
I can't see them making on Iwobi (£27.2m) Gomes (£22.5m) or Gbamin (£22.5m).

Who knows on Richarlison (£35.3m), Pickford (£25.7m), Micheal Keane (£25.7m), Moise Keane (£18m nett of loan fees), Digne (£18.2m), Godfrey (£24.8m), Allan (£22.5m) Doucoure (£19.9m)???

They have a big remaining squad of very highly paid players, many signed on very big fees, sitting below where they were before the mad spending started in 2014.
Since then they have gross spent £607m, recouped £289m.
On the pitch you have to say they have gone backwards since Moyes' time really.

Trying to catch up the big boys when you are an also ran like Everton has been an expensive mistake.
And they still have that stadium debt hanging around their neck.

That was my understanding of the situation too. Henderson lost his place for non football reasons and de Gea is playing well so doesn't deserve to be dropped.
