de Kock refuses to take the knee

You just keep prattling on and on in self righteous self importance.
People who take the knee should be respected and have every right to do so.
People who choose not to, should not be pilloried, let alone have their careers impacted.
It is as simple as that.
Are you always this angry indeedido?

You seem to have been in a perma-mood for weeks now.

Rightly or wrongly he's chosen to make significant gesture on this issue. Probably a bigger one than the rest of the players are making by doing it.

He clearly believes in his reasons strongly enough to make this statement. But not enough to explain why? If he was opposed to it and didn't want any attention, then why not just play along. What difference would it really make.

But he's not "doing nothing" he's taken a stand against it, quite a significant one. Of course he doesn't have to explain himself. But he can't surely expect people to ignore it either?

Wasn't there a Spitting Image song back in the day, which had some potentially pertinent lyrics for this debate! (Although to be fair, the song tarred all South Africans with the same brush).
Would that be the song "I've never met a nice south African?"

Schools (school kids) will be required to do it next…maybe it will be next requirement at work (all workers assembled and ready sir to take the knee.. we’ll done Smithers carry on)
FFS
As far as I know no schoolkids have been 'required' to take the knee ditti at work.
What's your problem with taking the knee?

Some leap that.
It should be easy enough for you to answer?
I'm not really in the habit of stalking people and going through their posting history but it's the impression I get of you.
My opinion clearly.

Even on this thread you've called Muttley sanctimonious, self-righteous and self-important. You've referred to him as 'people like you' and patronised him with your 'still prattling on' comment.

All of that suggests to me you're angry or at least very annoyed.

But if you say you're not angry then so be it.

Looks like his team mates are as baffled as the rest of us.
He has the right not to do it and the players management and cricket board have the right to exclude him.

So on this thread I am angry about Muttley, which makes me perma angry for months?
:)
If you have gone through my posting history and this is all you can come up with then you form impressions very strangely.
I repeat again what am I so very angry about?

Do you think he's "seen the light" and believes in the cause or has he realised that this may jepordise his career and income.

At least he's being seen to do th right thing - whatever he believes.

You'll never know.
Strikes me as not the brightest. Didn't come across too well in his spat with Warner (another c0ck btw)
Put himself under emormous pressure now for the rest of his career. He'll pay for his moment of madness

We may find out what has happened behind the scenes or we might not, but it seems like a positive outcome has come from this in a similar fashion to what happened over the summer in this country with football fans.

His side won the match he missed out on so there's little or no harm there and he can drop back in now.

Sounds like he, like many didn't understand why it was being done, maybe he reads the daily express ?
He admitted his actions were wrong , time to move on.
