Oh dear, only just found out about this loss. Mazzy Star, Opal, Rain Parade. Great songwriter and guitarist. Chatted to him once after a Mazzy Star gig in 90s, he hoped to produce an album for Arthur Lee but that sadly never materialised though Mazzy Star did cover Arthur's Five String Serenade....
