Clever player with a bit of guile...scored 15 when Sheff Utd were promoted. Wilder knows him...Knows the league and can hold the ball up something that we were sadly missing up front last season....

I'm not sure about the absolute negativety. He was the absolute key to everything Wilder did at Sheff UTD.
That's even without scoring. They were a shadow of the side when he was missing. Drops short and links up play. The fans loved him in the prem despite going 20 odd games without a goal.
I'd say better than we have (no bench mark). Also Wilder got the best out of him and knows him better than any FMTTM poster

Billy Sharp scored 14 goals and 7 assists at 35. Oh and he missed the last 6 weeks of the season.
Impressive that you'd say no
That said we should have bought him for 'pennies' whilst buying Braithwaite / Fletcher / Britt / Akpom and the many others years ago.

Being better than last season's strikers isn't enough. That should be the minimum you'd expect of any signing. Our forwards were dreadful. We should be signing players significantly better than the ones we had, which should be very easy to do, and I don't think McGoldrick is an upgrade.
