Anybody know what’s happened to him?
I thought he was supposed to be fit to play again in March but is not part of the squad in Portugal. I’ve also not heard Chris W say that he’s free to find a new club.
 
So long as he's getting paid, or is he ?

Do the club still have to pay him, when his injury had absolutely nothing to do with football ?

I don't get why you would think that mate? He's had a really bad injury and as Wilder said, is a long road to recovery and that we won't see him this year, which I expect means 2022.
Shame for the lad, like Ameobi.

Ameobi wasn't injured (the entire time) and there is apparently some sort of legal action going on.
