Hopefully this is the year that god awful squad depth comes to bite them on their ****. They are currently playing Erik Pieters right midfield when in truth he’s just a pretty average left back

That said you can't knock what he's done. They were very much our main rivals in promotion races. You look at our last 5-6 years and Burnleys. You say he's worked miracles

Is a small squad something to despise? I say good on them for surviving with a small squad.
I hate these large squads: it means every weekend there are dozens of quality players sitting on benches and in stands who, 20-30 years ago, would have been improving the quality further down the leagues.

Totally agree FH. Burnley are operating on a thin squad and not spending millions on players who bench warm.

It seems they may also be buying former Derby and Bournemouth loanee Harry Wilson as well.

I think Westwood is a very good player.

They are currently missing the dependable central defending partnership.

Doubt they will trouble the relegation places. Quite a few bang average teams ready to come down.

Yep. The reason they have a small squad is because they sign players and never play them. So they want to leave. So he gets what he deserves.
