Daisy Jones and The Six on Amazon Prime

Just watched this on Amazon Prime after my son recommended it, had no expectations but completely loved it. Great acting, great music and absorbing story which is loosely based on the rise and tribulations of Fleetwood Mac. It has a whopping 8.1 on IMDB which it fully deserves.

I can highly recommend this for your weekend viewing pleasure.

Just watched the final episode last night. What to say? other than if I could only watch one more tv programme in my lifetime it would be the final episode of Daisy Jones and the Six. Absolutely banging climax with more twists and turns than you can imagine.

I thought it was OK. The music was a bit generic, but that's always a problem with these things. A fictional band is supposed to have a worldwide hit, but actually writing a worldwide hit is a bit easier said than done, so the songs tend to be album-filler standard at best.

I didn't really get the Fleetwood Mac thing. I was a huge fan of the original Peter Green Fleetwood Mac but not really of the later version, though obviously I know their history, but this was so "loosely based" that I couldn't really identify any points of comparison.

very disappointing , we all have different tastes and all that but watched the first four or five episodes and then just gave up on it, although it started quite well but then just got really boring and I realised I did not like the main characters too much lol
