Dael Fry

I had pretty much given up on him last season. Shows what I know! He has been superb. Partnership with McNair looks rock solid. We didn’t play well tonight but I have this odd feeling of optimism!! UTB

At 22 and having played over 100 games as a pro surely people could see his class. He was good when Aitor and Pulis played him. The season under Woodgate, well you could have got social services in for his mistreatment. He must have played with 2 or 3 Different keepers, 4 or 5 different partners and constantly on his wrong side. He could go on to much bigger and better clubs than us, if he wants. Personally, I hope the rumours that he is happy here will remain and he is a one club man.

Hes always had a huge amount of natural talent, but as he's got a bit older he's added a ruggednes and strength to his game, which is only natural.

Has been the player we signed Hall to be, just better.

We need to be in the prem to keep or improve the likes of fry . Let’s hope we’re well placed in January so we’re bring in quality and not selling it .

Sometimes harsh to pit current players against past heroes but its fun.... Dael Fry is the new Stuey Boam, Boam knew his strenghs and honed them well , solid, good positioning, never bullied and key word STOPPER. When pace is a non entity positioning is key... I believe NW and his team are working on just that...

Don’t think he’s lost a header this season. I hammered him last season. He has been immense so far. Can see teams coming sniffing in January if he keeps this up but hope we keep him. He has been magnificent.
A few posters were saying the same thing, maybe he thought so himself but NW has revialised him into the player he was when bursting on to the scene

You can see what NW brings to the club, things when NW told all the players haveto give Fry around of applause after he'd been out for a while through various things, caught covid, his full time team group after the Bristol City win, the birthday cake for Dijksteel, the way he builds up players he is without doubt one of the best ever managers & we're so lucky to have him at our club
