Dael Fry going to Birmingham

I really worry with the way this club does business sometimes

Losing fry imo is a huge mistake

I guess in typical boro fashion they will of offered fry a wage that he’s not obviously happy with.

This lad is our best defender, a model professional on and off the pitch and has never been an issue throughout his career

Whatever he does I wish him success

We will go out now and maybe pay 2/3m for his replacement and pay him similar wages to fry, why 🤷🏻‍♂️

This club really ***** me off sometimes

It wouldn't be the first player the club have low balled. Reminds me of the dreadful mistake losing Mark Schwarzer

it feels like the club has gone back 6-7 years this summer in terms of recruitment and management
It’s this “project” bull ****

If we are just looking to do that to balance the books and make the odd few quid then it’s worrying

Last season was our best ever chance in a **** poor league, and now we’ve lost our best ever home grown talent because gibbo didn’t back KH

By letting a player go to a club beneath us for a fortune?

Fry is bang average, play Birmingham next season, play the ball over his head and watch him face his own goal like he’s handling a hot potato.

It’s funny, we all want to see the club progress but are selective of the idea of players holding us back. Fry is now the only constant!

It's almost feels like the local lads are expected to accept a poorer deal because they're local lads.

If you think Fry is bang average you should watch a different sport mate, he’s far from bang average.

No point getting worked up by some billy bull shitter on another forum.

How big a contract do people think we should be putting on the table for Fry given his injury record and age?

It would be typical Boro for us to give him a mega bucks long term contract only for him to breakdown in August and spend much of the season on the treatment table.

That poster on OB has history of some wildly wrong itk posts.
Hope this one is just another in a long list.

We don’t know about frys injury management though behind the scenes where he might not be able to train normally and KH won’t want to have to manage that on an ongoing basis.
I think frys calf’s are shot and every 7-8 games he’s gonna need some time out

It’s nothing to do with anyone on another forum mate it’s quite obvious mfc have offered him a **** contract, I would hazard a guess that MFC have actually offered him a lesser contract that his current one, maybe using his injury record as a reason. If we get 25/30 games or more then great

And it certainly wouldn’t be typical boro to offer him mega bucks, we just don’t and never have

Its all just conjecture though at this stage. His agent could be playing silly buggers or yes we might have put a crap contract on the table.

I guess we will find out one day.
