Cynical Norwich

Did anyone else think Norwich were a very cynical team a lot so called professional fouls. For all their nice passing football there was a lot of trips and pull backs. Also do you remember when the last 5 minutes of a close game were the most exciting now its just players going down faking injury, substitutions and free kicks that take an age to be taken.

Not really, the team that takes the honours for what you describe is Bournemouth, they were shocking.

We have done our own fair share of time wasting this season. I thought they were a good team. As are we. Tight game, tale of 2 penalties. Move on now
All teams do it, it's always been the case, it's natural, you can't blame a player running the clock down when in a winning position

To be honest, I think this type of game management is something Boro haven't done enough of over recent years. It's good to see us being a bit more savvy under Warnock.

I think they were fairly typical of a team just down from the premier league, I agree they were very ‘professional’ but then so are we, there’s no doubt about that.

Overall I found Norwich to be disappointing, we threw the game away in reality even allowing for the dodgy ref and I was expecting more from them both in terms of style and attacking play. I think they would have been very happy with a point, the win was a mega result for them.

The moment Pukki came on they started to look a proper team. His movement is exceptional. No one better in the championship for me in regards to striker movement. He’s a joy to watch and I can’t help but like him

Agree, I wish we had him, I’m surprised Norwich have managed to keep him.
