Current cold/cough doing the rounds.

I had what I thought was a really heavy cold at the end of July, proper floored me for about 3 days, turned out it was Covid, that is definitely doing the rounds again.

I had the same last week, thought it was a cold, did a test and it turned out to be Covid.

Not particularly nasty, but I thought I’d better stay out of people’s way until I tested negative yesterday.

Yep all 3 kids have had it in the last couple of weeks…. Literally taking turns to keep the full household awake every night.

Great teamwork by them
Sounds like my house apart from only 2 out of 3 have had it so far.
Warning for all. It gives you a double slap. The first 3 days are a warm up. You think you've shaken it and it comes back twice as bad again in another couple of days.

Happened to me and 2 of my kids so far.

I've had a shocking cold for about 3 weeks now. Done regular covid tests and all negative so assume it's just a seasonal cold.

There is a lot of illness about at the moment though.

Always this time of the year isn't it. Weather changes along with kids going back to schools and spreading all new virus variants that have developed over the summer and brought back from their holidays.

Definitely something going round but to be expected, kids back at school, students back at Uni & 'change' in the weather.

Yep and people coming back from holidays.... hotels, airports etc starts to ramp things up in September, along with school term.

That’s the kicker, the back to school bite …. The little rats bring home a host of bugs every day 😭

We have 4 off from work with covid at the moment. One person thought it a good idea to go into a team meeting coughing and sneezing for 3 hours. Then tested positive the day after. Three other team members have gone down with it since so far.

Wife was bad with it the last week or so, seems to have gotten over it now. Somehow managed to avoid it even though it's usually me who comes down with something.

I’m on round 2.

When I got back from Spain 2.5 weeks ago, I had similar symptoms with a fever. Felt cack for a few days in particular.

In the last 3-4 days I’ve been bunged up and had a bit of a head cold. I don’t have the cough but my 2YO daughter does. Her nose is running like a tap, similar to me.

Mine started last Tuesday night. It started with a sore throat which had gone by Wednesday morning but then turned into a heavy head cold, which lasted til Saturday morning. Just been bunged up since then coughing up all sorts. Head been really fuzzy the last couple of days too.
