Crystal ball time: next Boro manager?

Don’t see why any decent manager would touch this. Fairly clear just how badly CW was let down in the transfer window and this squad just isn’t good enough for a top 6 place. The club looks like it’s so chaotic so why would anyone risk their reputation on us. We can forget getting another manager with a record like wilder for a long time
 
Rui Faria, bit of a long shot and out there suggestion. Been a top assistant manager under some top managers, lots of contacts in the game. And a couple of years back he was open to becoming a manger. I'm thinking along the lines of Steve Mclaren and Aitor Karanka.
 
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is available .
Scott Parker ?
Bring Mogga home ?
Chris Houghton ?
Marcelo Gallardo is a good shout by JVM
Ideally CW would get his Mojo sorted and do the job properly

Can't see Farke taking such a backwards step in his career, he's got BMG up to 6th in the Bundesliga.

Looking at the list of managers linked with Bournemouth, Rotherham, Cardiff I'd be in favour of:

Knutsen (might be a backward step?)
Wagner
Darren Moore
Corberan
Carlos Carvalhal

Anthony Barry looks an interesting prospect, coach with Chelsea and Beglium.

Also, when did Brighton confirm De Zerbi? Completely passed me by. Very good appointment.

Yeah saw quite a bit of Braga last season, better squad than ours but had them playing some excellent football.
 
Yeah, I like Carvahal too but just can’t see Gibbo going foreign. He was obviously reluctant to do so even before it ended a bit sourly with Karanka & Orta, the “Spanish clique” etc.

No obvious candidates really are there.
