Archer had 11 goals and 6 assists in just 20 league games for us.
Chuba had 28+2 in 38.
Rutter’s record is not good.
Not as good as our striker or our ten last season.

And he cost £30m.

His cost has nothing to do with his ability as a player and everything to do with Leeds' incompetence in the transfer market.

As with Joelinton (and Chuba with us) once he was dropped back he has clicked. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sold for £50m in 2 years time given his age and pedigree. He's a year younger than Muniz and has got to grips with English football much faster. He's scored goals in the Bundesliga and Champions League as a teenager.

I'll bookmark this thread for 2026.
