Looking at the weather I'd guess at 1947. The winter of 1947 was a notoriously cold one.
Are we looking at the Addison Road/Clive Road turnstiles there into the Holgate End (West End)?
Actually it has to be the main entrance doesn't it, behind the main stand or North Stand on Warwick Street. So why does it say West?

Oh it is, isn't it. And the 2shilling tickets would have been transfer in to the South Stand seats.
I wasn't sure why there would be an entrance for officials at that side.
