Covid again!

Just a quick heads up. There is a family wedding today. My sister and nephew both have had heavy cold symptoms since the weekend so decided to get themselves checked as there will be elderly relatives here. They both have Covid! They have never had it before so it is unusual. Looks like it is on the rise again. Might be worth going back to preventative measure, washing hands etc, especially if you mix with older people.

"Wave" is quite a vague statement and can be taken out of context. These more recent "waves" i.e. the one we've suffered in the last 18 months are nothing compared to the initial "waves".

It bottomed out a few weeks ago and is now on the seemingly inevitable upward curve, albeit at relatively low levels as stated above.
(The hospitalisation stats are probably a better indicator of absolute activity than infection stats).

My daughter had it last week, cold symptoms for a couple of days, the rest of the family unaffected. Think it will be around for a while in a milder form

It never went away.

There is a new variant so we’re seeing a bit of a spike.

We always will.

Best not to overreact.

It just disappeared off the news its always been around, it hasnt gone anywhere. Its just become part of life like the flu

We've got a couple of members of our team at work currently off with it

I think I've just had it, along with the missus. More like a cold, but, as with first time I had it, heavy amounts of gunk in my chest.
