Council tax refund

I read today that it should be paid on or by the 30th April...not had ours yet and we're stockton council
 
I moved house and councils (York to Hambleton) on 16th March… got no idea who should be paying me the £150… or by when.

Everyone in band A to D are getting it. If you pay your council tax by direct debit it will be paid straight into your bank account. If you pay any other way you need to contact your council to sort out how to get it to you
 
I thought it might be worth sharing this generic letter that I received with my latest Council Tax bill. IT explains the rebate and the £200 energy bill discount/ loan(?).

It’s Hambleton who collect it , but N Yorkshire who takes the lions share. Incidentally Hambleton is being abolished soon.
 
Scammers have caught onto this. If you don't pay by DD you have to fill a form in apparently. Scammers are sending our bogus forms allegedly.

Yup - Just be one huge North Yorkshire & York on its own. I guess it will be Hambleton who will pay me the rebate as they are who I currently have a direct debit with.
