Blaming the state of the country at present on Corbyn is a bit like victim blaming…
The right wing media pulled apart his campaign and facilitated a Tory victory but many of his mocked policies like tree planting and universal broadband soon found their way in to the Tory policies…
He definitely made huge mistake but the country did not deserve to be punished by Boris because of them…
It's all there if you can be bothered. Hated Corbyn and the result was 100% his fault. Outside the clique you seem to inhabit he was as popular as herpesRubbish
Agree but two awful choices led to the least one ( at least to some voters I knew) he should have stepped down when May did and allow a coalition government. That was 100% him.Blaming the state of the country at present on Corbyn is a bit like victim blaming…

No, I agree he should have dealt with I better but the state of the country lies solely on the shoulders of those that have failed to govern this country since then… and to some extent, those that were fooled by the right wing propaganda and switched to the tories because they were worried their money was going to be used to pay for a better country and not give them personally, a better life…And it was his job to manage the media and he didn't.
And the country suffers terribly for it.
His fault, and his supporters.
Utterly ridiculous. And it was his job to manage the media and he didn't.

Plenty of proof of you wish to see it . Even campaigned against Smith The guy I would have loved to have seen other then Blair.Rubbish
Did you actually watch him at all. Were Rose tinted glasses required for all his followers. He was appealing on the media and as for Jezz fest ffsUtterly ridiculous.
A 5yr+ smear campain, which finally seeped in.
Yep, all his fault.
Fully agree re the Starmer point, it's also potentially very self destructive.Corbyn gave us all a bit of fun. I supported him but he lost twice. The message on the doorsteps prior to the last election was crystal clear - he moves people away from voting Labour.
On a personal note I think it is sad the way he has been treated by Starmer.
But - the key card the Tories have against Starmer is Corbyn. He’s acted for a reason.
I do smile at those who say Starmer is indistinguishable from a Tory. It demonstrates either laziness or dogma (maybe both).
Many of us want to see an end to selfish politicians on the take at the expense of the country.
A Corbyn free party will attract more voters.
It was the worst result in 80 years - the seats they got gave The Tories an 80 seat majority to do as they please
Votes Cast
2010 Con 10.7M, Lab 08.6M
2015 Con 11.3M, Lab 09.3M
2017 Con 13.6M, Lab 12.9M
2019 Con 13.9M, Lab 10.3M
Now it is reported as worst result ever in 2019 but more votes than Blair, Brown or Miliband. Interesting the apparent surge from Red to Blue in 2019 was a lie. Labour lost leave seats as Starmer and Mandelson made a 2nd referendum policy.
Boris got similar to May in actual fact but as Farage said our system does not lead to the right result. And the Brexit Party only stood in Labour Seats!
Nigel Farage said first-past-the-post is 'now totally bankrupt' after his party came third in the total number of votes cast, but got a fraction of the 56 seats of the SNP or even the eight MPs secured by the Lib Dems.
The country suffers because of the stupidity of the electorate, nothing else. You can fool lots of the people for all of the time. And it was his job to manage the media and he didn't.

As pointed out above Corbyn won more voters but the second referendum policy (Starmers) was a disaster. It's also why he won't talk about the EU now
Starmers policies are very aligned to the Tories. I actuality it funny people think there's a difference and that those who actually follow policies who think they are broadly similar have got it wrong.
Especially on things that voters say are key issues like immigration
Corbyn is gone and so have the policies and a Labour government will be marginally better.
Yes correct. My sister in law who voted Conservative as she couldn't vote for Corbyn as he was a lefty, IRA sympathiser etc etc has now decided she could not vote for Starmer as he doesn't know what a woman is. FFS I despair. The country suffers because of the stupidity of the electorate, nothing else. You can fool lots of the people for all of the time.
Blair Despite all the nonsense Corbyn fans spout, was not a tory and made actial positive change. Would have preferred Smith but sadly that was not possible. Corbyn and his bag of spanners likely the laziest mp ever. No use in parliament and Despite the anti Tory vote in 2017 he remained unpopular. Sadly his supporters want another tory win to justify his failure. As pointed out above Corbyn won more voters but the second referendum policy (Starmers) was a disaster. It's also why he won't talk about the EU now
