Corbyn won't be a Labour candidate at General Election

Imagine if Corbyn had actually ensured Labour ran an all guns blazing election style stay in the EU campaign.

I genuinely think Brexit would have been avoided.

As things stand, he’s far too divisive and it’d have been a huge boost for tories if he had been allowed to stand.
And you think that Starmer isn't divisive? Starmer becoming leader is the reason that me and many others left the party in disgust.

Corbyn fought two elections for Labour.

2017 he was brilliant and nearly won against the wooden Theresa May.

2019 his campaign was nowhere near as good against ‘Get Brexit Done’ and he ended up blamed for the parliamentary deadlock 2017 to 2019.

He had his time but Labour had to move on.

Not as divisive as Corbyn no.

The polls suggest he’s doing ok and barring a miracle is going to be Prime Minister.

Just my opinion mate. I'm not trying to start an argument with you. I just won't be voting Labour with Starmer leading the party. I've made that pretty clear on here many times.
Didn’t think you were! Would be a pretty boring forum if we all had the same views.

Votes Cast
2010 Con 10.7M, Lab 08.6M
2015 Con 11.3M, Lab 09.3M
2017 Con 13.6M, Lab 12.9M
2019 Con 13.9M, Lab 10.3M

Now it is reported as worst result ever in 2019 but more votes than Blair, Brown or Miliband. Interesting the apparent surge from Red to Blue in 2019 was a lie. Labour lost leave seats as Starmer and Mandelson made a 2nd referendum policy.

Boris got similar to May in actual fact but as Farage said our system does not lead to the right result. And the Brexit Party only stood in Labour Seats!

Nigel Farage said first-past-the-post is 'now totally bankrupt' after his party came third in the total number of votes cast, but got a fraction of the 56 seats of the SNP or even the eight MPs secured by the Lib Dems.

You have to laugh at this Conservative Party jibe at starmer. Truly is wild and unfounded

Personally do not like the treatment of corbyn

I'm another who left the Labour Party when Starmer started dropping his preferred candidates, like Harringey based Alan Strickland, as Sedgefield candidate. It has been a very undemocratic process and Starmer is behind it.

I am a huge Corbyn fan, but wholeheartedly agree it was time to move on.

However, his vilification by his own party is a disgrace. I left the party upon his suspension as I could not reconcile with them bowing to the media depiction of him as an anti Semite. Unfortunately, I believe my decision has been vindicated.

Note: I'll still vote Labour, as it's essential to remove the Tories, then hope for even the slightest swing to the left once in power

Starmer is Washingtons man just like Blair Cameron Johnson and Sunak. There is no ideology behind him from what i can see,the only fervent support he has are the people who stand to gain financially when he is in power just like the tories, opening a self awareness class for narcissists in westminster sounds a great business idea 650 clients on tap.
