Bizarre from Wolves to loan out a stalwart and captain to rival club Everton. I get that the manager is trying a new formation and doesn’t think he can play in a 4 at the back, fair enough. But to loan him out just feels very hasty and a stupid one. Coady been a class act for that club and will seem weird him playing for Everton

I think they want to help him out as much as possible due to his loyalty and efforts in getting them promoted and established in the premier league. Plus he wants to see if he can in the WC squad. Don't think he is a top international player but that is an area we are weak in. I'm sure Wolves are getting a decent loan fee. They've let quite a few players go this window, so they must still have a lot of recruiting to do, particularly in attacking areas, but all over really.

They seem a shambles. Honestly this hasn’t went down well at all. Fair enough if they sold him but a loan to a rival is mental in my opinion.

Seems a few of these far eastern owned clubs are struggling financially. Leicester being the prime example, but I think Wolves and Birmingham and maybe WBA are all owned by people in the Far East. Not sure what the exact issue is, apart from the obvious global downturn, but bound to trickle down to football. Might also effect our own transfer dealings and maybe not spending all the money we think we should be.

Always had him in the bracket of a player that has exceeded expectations based on hard graft and application.

He's the type of player all clubs need. Think it's a crazy decision from Wolves.
