He looks a really good player when I’ve seen him. I’d have thought Div 1 loan to bring him on. I suppose given the window being shut is why he has gone to Gatehead, to get game time in a physical league. Hope he does well and steps up.

I saw him away at Blackpool in the cup. I'm not sure he featured again? Everyone was woeful that night.

Who writes for the Gazette I’ve just read the article and it repeatedly says former Boro midfielder Stockdale. I don’t ever remember him playing in midfield for us it was always at fullback. Did he move into midfield after he left us?
