If there was a chance to bring Chuba back would you back it?
The signs are there is a chance - and it could be that the fans could tip the balance.
He had the best time of his career here and we could reignite all that again.
We cannot blame him for trying his luck at Ajax - it didn't turn out but can you imagine if our record scorer in recent times returned to the Riverside.
We need everyone pulling together on this. Show Chuba how much we want him back here at Boro.

Chuba is not a striker. We saw that with our own eyes for the whole duration of his time here.

We need a striker. Chuba is not the answer.

And we have Whittaker and McGree who can cover Azaz as #10 if need be.

We have bigger problems than trying to sign Akpom.

We play with two 10s.

Or you could play with Akpom just off Conway with Azaz in behind.



Bottom line is we need at least 2 more signings in the attacking positions, and Akpom would be a superb one

We need one signing in the attacking mid role. And a permanent signing ideally.

Chuba will come with big financial constraints and doesn’t solve the issues we have.

The vast majority of his career he has been poor. He would be a huge financial risk, something we shouldn’t be taking and therefore wouldn’t be a superb signing.
 
That position (10) is not a priority. We need one, probably 2 centre forwards and a serious injection of pace. It also doesn’t make financial sense.
