Very good question! I'll get back to you on the specific dishes but I'd definitely (and predictably) have a metal themed evening. Perhaps a black metal starter, death metal main and a power metal dessert 🍽

Black Metal Starter: Mixed seafood (mussels, clams, prawns, anchovies) and squid ink tagliatelle (shaped into a pentagram)...

Death Metal Main: Beef wellington (cooked as rare as possible) in the shape of a human limb with asparagus, fresh peas and pommes frites...

Power Metal Dessert: A rose flavoured creme brulee (fired with dragon's breath) and a garnish of fresh tropical fruit...

My menu,

Pea and mint pate served with fresh flat breads and pesto to start.

Followed by lamb shank served with a red wine reduction and dauphinoise potato.

For dessert a Carribbean platter of sweets consisting of a Carribbean mess made up with mango, pineapple, passion fruit and whipped cream and some banana batons pan fried in captain Morgan's spiced gold rum with the remaining sauce reduced and used for dipping.

Someone i used to teach went on Dinner date. It was a celebrity version and he hosted Vikki Patterson (Geordie Shore). She turned up hungover to hell and i seem to remember she threw his Eton Messs all over his white leatrher sweet for a laugh. He still won and took her out to Cafe Lilli in Norton. I dont think he ever saw her again as he worked offshore somewhere over Norway.
They were filming 4 in a bed a couple of weeks ago at the Fox Covert and the Windmill(?) place next door.
