There were a lot of problems reported following Liverpool v Man Utd at Anfield when the kits worn proved indistinguishable to those colour blind.
In the world there are 1 in 12 men (8%) and 1 in 200 women. In Britain this means that there are approximately 3 million colour blind people (about 4.5% of the entire population), most of whom are male.
The good news is following correspondence from members of FSA with Man U club officials they are confident there will be no kit clash for the FA Cup tie between the clubs this weekend.
Good news then. I think colour blind issues were not appreciated. Phone calls and emails have brought positive results.
