The 33 is in case any of the 12 players in the final get injured, or if Henderson, Phillips and Maguire aren't fit.

Get them training now for a week, so they're ready replacements, rather than draft them in late.

I am sure likes of Godfrey, White and Sako and others could be used at Riverside even though not selected in main squad. Will give injured players and Champions League players extra recovery time.
