I don't believe he's ever scored more than 8 league goals in one season? Is this right?

If it is, then he is certainly not the best striker in the Championship. Far from it.

Akpom is 6 in 11 games (and at least 1 game of those as sub).

The BBC have assists wrong - they have him as zero. He laid on Jones goal v WBA, he also crossed for Forss v QPR and possibly at Hull set up Giles.
