Christmas day dinner recommendations

I know it's a tad early, but there's the risk of everywhere getting booked up. Does anyone have any good experiences locally within 20 miles of Christmas day dinner?
 
Depending on your budget of course my brothers family went to Grantley Hall Ripon last Christmas Day and said it was fantastic.
 
£70 each at the pub/restaurant my daughter works in - but gets 33% staff discount so makes it just about justifiable.
 
My step-daughter's dad took her and her boyfriend to the Griffin in Thornaby last year. £11 a head.

Think it was when they arrived he said "have you got that £22 for your dinners". Understandable though, he had his sniff tick to pay off.
 
It’s all relative isn’t it. We are hosting and to be honest I would pay good money to eat out if the other family members woild. I’d rather just relax and spend time with my kids on Xmas rather than cooking
 
Thanks, yeah there's 10 of us and fancy trying something different. Quite a few places we fancied are already fully booked, looking for further ideas that we haven't thought of. Grantley Hall looks superb but maybe a little bit difficult with timings and logistics
