Anyone remember him?

Signed for us straight out of university I seem to remember under Mowbray, 10 years ago.

Spent some time with Portsmouth and now he’s playing against Liverpool in the Europa League for Belgian team Union SG.

Played once for us.

I think we took him out of Birmingham Uni and got him enrollefd at Teesside to finish his degree (he got a 1st I think). Only played in one game right at the end of a season v Sheff ?

Yep, that was his only first-team appearance.

I saw him play a reserve team game once, where he was partnered with Adam Jackson at CB and I thought they both looked pretty good. I had to look up Jackson just now to see what'd happened to him - turns out he's at Lincoln City.

He was a friend of a friend, I remember having a drink with him in the Keys beer garden in Yarm the same day that British & Irish Lions beat Australia in the final game of the tour in 2013. Chatted about his move from University up to Teesside etc, don't particularly remember him after that.

His first game was against Sheff Wed away (I went to it).... I remember he posted on twitter afterwards a picture of his legs after Steve Howard kicked lumps out of him.
