Because he's so well known for his punditry, iconic tele character and pretty much universally loved, it's all the nicer that he talks with such fondness about having managed to wear the boro shirt and play at ayresome. It clearly means a lot to him despite having encountered racism in the area as a young man.

The hardest part is seeing how sad it makes him that he can't just be himself. He wants to give so much to everything. I hope he continues to improve and we see him with a big smile on his face in the coming years.
 
What a wonderful human being Kammy is. He is a national treasure. He has done so much for football, for the battle against racism, broadcasting in general and I am guessing for millions of ordinary people who have debilitating conditions by talking about his illness.

I think the interviewer was also top class and deserves credit for responding to Kammy’s self doubts. I hope he goes onto to have a good career.

Well done Kammy, he is a credit to the nation, let alone his family, we should thank him for everything, and hope he keeps doing whahe’s doing till he decides when enough is enough, which I personally hope is never. Top man a life well lived and a role model for us all 👍

The host is a dragon on Dragon's Den. Sold a social media business for £300m. Think he's doing ok.

I’m actually quite shocked about how little publicity Kamara’s battle has got. I wasn’t at the match where he came on the pitch at half time and whilst I vaguely heard about it, I had no idea what had happened to him (though I have never paid a lot of attention to him in the past, I’ll admit).

It’s all very sad, I hope there’s a way through for him.
