Choudhury

Kept my eye on him yesterday, as he was linked with us preseason wasn’t he?
He was everywhere he needed to be and a bit of a (Today Was A t*t) but we absolutely hounded, pressed and tortured him. We forced him into looking very ordinary and be prone to making a few mistakes, upon hunch we almost capitulated on.
Yes I noticed him as well ( hard not to with his hair I guess) and I was surprised he was so deep

didnt look happy at all as did his teamates... clearly the individuals have bit about them but they didnt gell yesterday

Definitely one of those players who's better without the ball, very imposing physically and ideal for stopping the opposition playing

He was playing right of a back three wasn’t he? Then went central and eventually in to midfield. Looked to me like someone playing out of position, he was too keen try and win the ball rather than hold up our forward players and got caught out a fair bit as a result. Miles too far forward for the set piece that led to our breakaway goal too.

Isnt he a decent midfielder, woeful at the back.

Didnt Arsenal play Petit at the back against us once and he was shoite as well.
Think petit was a left back for Monaco before he signed for arsenal (along with Gilles Grimandi who turned us down under Smac) wasn’t he?

He was probably their best player, but even then I didn't think he was great.

We obviously caught them on an off day, because you don't get to 3rd in the league in January by playing that poorly.

Probably similar to our performance (or lack of performance) against Sunderland last week. Just didn't turn up.

I still fully expect them to finish in the top 6.

3rd position isnt that much of a brag at the moment, its like only 6 points away from being in the bottom half of the table.
rather us than them, you can certainly say that about first and second though, they have pulled well away from everyone and would take some bad luck and form for them to get dragged into the play offs

us and watford both played an additional game too, so not as a firm 3rd place as I would like, but we only in January still time to form a gap, our form is among the best in the league

when you look at the table you can see their form isn't really that good and could possibly knock them down a few spots once other teams catch up, luton look good to get back there if they can make their 2 games up fast

formwise Burnley aside, only sheff utd, us, luton and wba that are consistent with the victories in the last 5 games

Birmingham's form is pretty consistent too lol

We just need to keep going and cement 3rd place, and if Sheff Utd have a bad run we need to capitalise. If they beat us next week I think they're as good as up, along with Burnley.

Regarding the match on Saturday, I think it says a lot about us and the way we played that Keinan Davis was subbed at half time. He was great for Forest last season and we never gave him a kick.
