Children murdering 80 year old man

so sad. Society in this country is well and truly ****ed. We don’t discipline kids, and install manners, from a young age anymore. We pander to the parents and diagnose some sort of order instead of accepting they are naughty and need to be disciplined.
A large proportion of these sh ite hawks then have kids young and the cycle continues.
I’d bet a pound of **** that the names are well known to police in the area.

This type of thing is sadly not new. Parenting skills began declining decades ago, parents wanting kids but only some could be bothered to do their duty, wealth helped but offered no guarantee. Great swathes of families from across the divide wanted kids, but how many for the right reasons?

Family breakdowns are nothing new, some one parent families left to rot by successive governments, no hope, some living off benefits, multi generations now know nothing but, It is seen as their lot, some now see kids as a route to jump the social housing queue, life on benefits fund basics, they are forgotten by the state and a few go on to breed feral youths that get preyed on by the local friendly drug dealers for phones and tablets, they act as watchers, then runners until they eventually work their way up the crime ladder till they get caught. Some thanks to good teachers, community volunteers and leaders break the vicious circle and make a fair or good life.

New Labour through 3600 sure start centres were helping 2.8M children and families and were turning things around, then along came a piglet called David….. crash, bang, wallop and here we are now…. Kids all over the country causing ASB, a few capable of murder, life is seen as having little value. Too many humans, not enough money, a war used to be the old way populations were culled, meanwhile the doomsday clock ticks on….

Where on earth would these kids have got the idea of killing someone. Films, internet, peers, news programmes, recent events, listening to racists, grooming.
I feel so much for that poor mans family.

I lived less than 5 minutes’ walk from where this happened for about 4 years. Walked in that park very often. ‘Braunstone’ has a very bad reputation in Leicester, but this is not the council estate, but good quality inter-war semi detached housing and newer bungalows (similar to parts of Acklam) a couple of miles away from any urban deprivation.
Shocked and saddened.

I would like to say I’m surprised but after the last 5 months of hell we have gone through that has been done by a bunch of 11 year olds I am anything but.

Parents don’t give a monkeys
Kids are feral
School not bothered in the slightest
Police going round weekly and nothing changes

I left school in 98 and although we had a couple of trouble makers they were usually quickly dealt with. Only the real head cases were not scared of the police and most parents actually give a ****. Most of all the teachers mostly commanded respect.

Fast forward to now and none of that is true. Worse of all the parents think their kids are angels even when you have evidence to the contrary

you sound a happy soul

I'm sure their parents haven't done a great job(although not always the case) but we need to look into why they haven't rather than putting it down to "this new generation".

The working class is getting put further and further behind each year that goes by.

Unfortunately many kids these days think they're untouchable, a neighbour of mine was playing footy with his 7 year old in the local park over the holidays, we live in quite a nice area, but the park seems to attract a few from outside the area, there was a group of about 10 he said 12-14 year olds, ball went over them to them kid went to get it and they refused to give it back, one of them booted the ball directly in to the kids face, he went over to remonstrate and get the kid out of there, one of the lads circled round the back of him and punched him in the back of the head then they all piled in. Fortunately a couple of tree surgeons were at the opposite end of the park and came over to rescue him, the lads all legged it. Neighbour claims he didn't get aggressive just told them they were bang out of order, he had a busted nose and lost 2 teeth. Police came about 2hrs later to his home address, said they'd check CCTV, they did and couldn't find anything as there is no camera's covering that area or the way the left. Locals are now campaigning for CCTV to be installed in the park, there has been a fair few anti social incidents, council are saying they don't have the cash. Will just end up with more issues until something really serious happens, these kids just think whatever they do they won't get caught or receive any retrobution.

I'm not surprised re this post, disgusted but not surprised, I wasn't a saint when I was a kid but was taught to respect my elders and have manners. These things are now a thing of the past.

The worst thing is you can't name the so and so's . I disagree with that totally.

That’s a really good point about respecting your elders. Far too much ageist rhetoric in the press and social media, fuelled by envy.
