Cheltenham festival is upon us again!

Whats everyones pick for tomorrow?

Just going with a £2 lucky 15 on the Supreme, Arkle, Champion hurdle and Mares myself with £10e/w on Captain Guinness for the cash back offer (y)

Gone for the Mullins favourite in the supreme, get your tenner back with sky bet so can't lose 😀

Abacadabras in the 1st.. been tipped decor irelandais in the 1:30 on Wednesday 66/1 🤷‍♂️ don't shoot the messenger. 👍Good look to all chaps

Previous festival form is a massive plus and is always worth looking for.

Abracadabras has a solid chance in the 1st 4th in the Bumper last year and only beaten 1.5 lengths by Envoi Allen at Fairyhouse, the Mullins horse jumps right which could prove costly.

I think Fakir D’Oudairies will reverse Leopardstown form with Notebook with the softer ground and the stronger pace in his favour.

The Ultima is a tricky race with the 3 at the head of the market offering solid form, but their prices reflect that so I’m going to take a chance on Activial at 28’s, 6th in this race last year and was 3rd in the Coral Cup as a hurdler on his two previous festival runs. He’s lower in the handicap today than on those two occasions and should hit the frame.

Poor renewal of the Champion Hurdle but Cornerstone Lad arguably brings the best form this season into the race, he’s uncomplicated and might be hard to pass up the hill, beat dual Champion Buveur d’Air at Newcastle and was giving both Ballyandy and Pentland Hills weight when narrowly beaten at Haydock the really fancy prices have gone but still available at 28’s today

Last years fortunate winner Roksana is my each way pick in the mares race at 16’s

Galvin has a solid chance in the Novices handicap looks to have been laid out for the race, was 6th in the Ballymore last year despite some sketchy jumping but seems a better jumper of a fence than a hurdle.

Carefully Selected is too short in the finale and I’m going to take a chance on the extreme distance suiting Ocean Cove at 33’s Lisa O’Neill is an interesting booking and would be the best female amateur riding in Ireland at the moment and Fergal O’Brien has his horses in good form

It wasn’t his greatest moment but the fall two out left him nothing to follow and meant he was in front sooner than he wanted to be, that said Shishkin met a lot of trouble in running and if Russell had kicked earlier he might not have got home, but I’m sure if the race was ran again he’d ride it slightly differently.

This time last year I was in Benidorm for my son in laws stag doo, couldnt believe how big Cheltenham is, I'm not in to horse racing one bit, infact I've never put a bet on, our hotel was massive with a couple of big screens around the pool & bookie round one of the tables taking bets
I have in a backed a horse, the poor animal didn't even finish around the course

Needless to say I won't be getting again

yes, a good day, 4 winners, a second, a third and a fourth.

it wouldn't be fair that I could match that tomorrow., but I will post up what I will be betting. make of that what you will, but I assure you I have no secret powers and nor do I really know too many connections in racing - so its all about previous runs that ive been able to see (particularly in Ireland).
I couldn't pick my nose, let alone a winning horse so it's a big well done from me.

My Stepson had the first 5 of an E/W accumulator, cash out was around £350 he had Defi seuill as number 6.
A painful lesson.

Fella in my local had £500 on champ in the 2.10, I had a few quid ante-post. Imagine the pandemonium in the pub with that finish!
