Chelsea v Boro [play off final 2nd leg] 1988 [V-04:35]

That young team did incredibly well to beat Chelsea over two legs. Chelsea had 6 or 7 full internationals in their team and won the division title by about 17 points the next season.
We might need the spirit of 88 in the next few weeks! UTB
 
Durie and Dixon were quality strikers
BUT Mowbray and Pallister were better 👍👍

Pat Nevin was outstanding for them on the day and I felt it was only a matter of time before they scored again.....BUT 🥳
 
Its a great little video - Motty`s voice is something else.
Only two years after training on the park, we were climbing the leagues.
Our young team were fearless.
Great days - a bit scary that day mind (y)
 
Loved it, me and the now very lucky mrs nzb1 went down on the supporters buses.

Parked miles away, and had to walk through hordes of Chelsea fans.

We also had tickets in the seats next to the shed, came out about 2 pound up, all in loose change.

We were moved at half time to the area behind the goal.

Scary times after the game as well
