Chelsea under potter

Brighton look a far better side to watch. That's under Potter and new gaffer.

Whilst clearly Chelsea is a bigger draw. I'm not sure they are much 'better' on the pitch.

I think he has a distinct way of playing, just like sarri has, that would take time for the players to adapt. Big shot players are going to be thinking who the **** this guy. Probably won't take to him. Would not be surprised to see him go to England after the WC.

Wow we moan about the standard of refs in the championship, but dear me that ref in that game, brutal .

A shame for him, but I don't think anybody saw it ending well.

I wouldn't lay the blame solely at his feet.

Seemed a strange team he picked today. Can’t see him staying there too long.
Very strange indeed. So many big names on the bench and people out of position, with a smattering of random kids. Looked like a Carabao Cup team.

When I saw it I wondered if he’s sitting out the World Cup players, or if they refused to play en masse to not risk injury - either of which, at a vital away game against a good team bang in form who are threatening to take your Champions League spot, in the middle of a dreadful run, is not a good look at all.

Under Abramovich not many Chelsea managers would survive this run.

Quality Manager with an difficult squad. Some big names who are not as good as their reputation. Needs time. A precious commodity at that level.

The right fit at Brighton, not so at Chelsea

Hope he still does well there mind
Potter will be gone in another 5 games….
When you analyse it
He had Brighton firing on all cylinders so why not stay and look to build something special and potentially get them into a Europe spot
Just leaving for Chelsea who are already successful seemed to me to be a stupid move and actually impatient with his own ambitions

I see MC like potter, build something here and head for success as the so called big clubs need a period of averageness!

Did great at Brighton but needs time at Chelsea. Not sure he’ll get it.

The guy who has taken over at Brighton is doing a great job btw.

You're probably right, he had to take the job to test himself but at Brighton it was the right fit
