Chelsea to ban parents who allow kids to run onto the pitch

The BBC are running article about Chelsea banning parents or guardians who allow young kids to run onto the pitch at the end of the game. I've noticed this creeping into the game and kids stood there with the sad face and a card asking for a player's shirt.

I'm not sure about banning parents for this, just a note in the programme or announcement to ask parents not to do it should be suffice.

Regarding kids with notes asking for shirts, if I was a player I would give my shirt to a kid standing near you without a card. If a player wants to give you his shirt, he will, you don't have to beg for one.

Ban the kids, ban the parents. (Just at Chelsea), Mind, I would include Leeds too😉

If Martin Lewis cottoned onto this he could save Man Utd supporters a real fortune each week as they travel from everywhere but Manchester

Leeds already do it ;)

Of course the parents should be banned. They are responsible for their kids. Some silly woman was encouraging their kids to do it at the Riverside recently.

If they ran on themselves they would be banned.

Sick of people making excuses for bad and/or selfish behaviour these days. It’s not difficult to behave and not act like a knob head.

Parents taking responsibility for their kids? It's never going to catch on.

Then again if players keep throwing items into the crowd then it will keep happing. I'd rather that that fans watching the whole game through a recording mobile phone😉

in a stadium far far away(London)
Son: Dad can you buy me an Xbox series X?
Dad: No, I'm not made of bloody money.
Son: Dad, is it true that if I run onto the pitch you will you lose your season ticket?
Dad: What games do you want with your Xbox?

I would expect they’ve already been asked not to do it and it’s still happening. So they are now cracking down.
