Chelsea fans - what's the situation with tickets for Saturday?

Strange times indeed but if Chelsea have already purchased the away allocation before the sanction, I don't see why they couldn't sell them for this game....that's what I think anyway
Thanks 👍

I assume Chelsea bought and paid for their allocation before the restrictions were imposed so I'm not sure how they would give them back to us as I assume we can't give them a refund.
good point, Plus In FA Cup games teams get 45% of revenue regardless if it's home or away. Total income for a full house would be 650kish at £20/ticket.

If they bought 4,500 tickets at £20, that is 90k up front payment.

We will still owe them 200k but we can't pay it.......that will buy a lot of blankets and meals for Ukrainian refugees as they cross the border to Poland. Gibson should lobby the FA for this solution.

As i understood it, the ban on selling tickets started on the 10th, they started selling them on the 9th, so people who got them on the 9th can attend.

According to the Gazette - MFC will get paid for the Chelsea tickets.

Chelsea have not actually sent out any tickets as yet. They are awaiting a Government response tonight on what they want to happen.

There are 4,500 tickets involved.

I think the government will allow them to sell them as a one off (because half of the party support Chelsea) but I’m still unsure as to why they couldn’t just give them away in a ballot type draw for season ticket holders who want to attend the game???

Their allocation was 4,620. Lazy journalism from the gazette.

Surely if Chelsea are not allowed to sell the remaining tickets or return them them mfc can at least open up the areas that are reserved for segregation approx 1500 and sell them to Boro fans?

Some of us have actually sat in blocks 42 and 43 since the stadium opened.
So we are quite happy to stay were we are thank you
Blocks 46 ,47 , 48, 49, 50 are big enough to accomodate 2,000 away fans, blocks 51, 52,53 should provide segregation allowing blocks 54 and 55 to be home fans, but I can't see Chelsea selling the tickets back to us.
Can the they give them away to their own fans ? I hope not, it is no punishment letting them have 4,500 away fans at a game, it helps them on and off the pitch.

Surely we are not punishing Chelsea or their fans but restricting what their present owner can and can't do.
