Checking ST's last night

Do we know that is all he did? I find it hard to believe he has been banned for a few games for just doing that. Did he leave his seat and go as far over to the away area as he could and do it, if so maybe the club are trying to stop that sort of thing, which could lead to more serious situations for crowd safety. He must have been deemed a risk for more than sat in his seat going shush and shouting I can’t hear you. At the recent F.A Cup game I heard one lad shout at a fellow supposed Boro fan that he was a f*****g nutter and to crawl back under the stone he’d come from, right in front of a steward, who just smiled and gave him a thumbs up signal. There has to be more to it.

I don’t know to be honest col

Banned for the rest of the season home and away you would assume would have to be pretty serious. My concern is a general feeling of stewards going over the top towards fans more so this season and noticeably more so the past few games.

I wouldn’t have thought anything of it otherwise to be honest, I would have just assumed the worst.. or at least assumed it was much worse than he was letting on.

The language being used by the steward is not consistent enough for me to warrant an ejection let alone a six game ban. Depending on of course what the ‘antagonising’ involved.

Dunno.. it just doesn’t sit right for me. What is the appeals process for this sort of thing?

Obviously if the lad has gone at a group of away windmilling with death threats or whatever then you’d expect him to be ejected. If it’s standing up and giving it the big sushhhhhh in the south stand. Then it’s all part of the match day experience.

I’ve been watching Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty on Netflix.. so I know all about building the fan experience, creating a successful team and building a world leading sports franchise. Highly recommended for sports fans! Magic Johnson!! What a guy!!!

Bloody hell if shouting at the linesman gets you chucked out I'm bloody doomed. 😊
The linesmen in this division are bloody aweful, they offer next to no assistance to the referee and the struggle to decide throw ins! The mind boggles!

Which ever team touched the ball last.. the other team gets the throw. There's always a chance their sight is blocked and they are only human.. but CRIPES ALL MIGHTY!!!

Keep an eye on your fellow fans on Monday, obviously respect the stewards and the job they have to do to keep the crowd safe. But as far as chanting, singing and shouting, celebrating goals.. hands on heads for missed chances.. gasps etc. NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STEWARDS Let the fans enjoy the games uninterrupted without threats of ejection from some wannabe CSI Miami chubster in high vis.

Did see a lad trying to get his mates ticket off him after it had been used at the Hull game. Steward took both the lad trying get in and the other lads ST. So no doubt another season ticket lost. It's just not worth it.

So they both had tickets?

I've has the turnstile not turn a couple of times on me.. you'd think I was trying to explain Fermat's Last Theorem!

CARD GO IN! TURNSTILE NOT GO ROUND!

No fella, he tried to use his mates that had already been used, after trying and getting red lighted the steward took him and his mates ST away. Don't know why he thought he could use the same card twice, the modern day squeeze perhaps.

Shame really, I know you can’t have folks getting in for nowt. But two young dedicated fans.. are 0% interest season cards the way forward?

A nice call another Bob end type of place. They weren't that old so a Tenner a seat would would be ideal and affordable.

I was trying to get in by accidentally using my bank card, I tried a couple of times, obviously with no luck, and then the steward operated the gate for me! I showed him my SC as I went through though.
