Northampton Town captain Charlie Goode is close to signing for Brentford for an undisclosed fee.
Goode has been in high demand this summer by a number of Championship clubs, with Middlesbrough also bidding for the centre back.
Sky Sports News understands he is close to agreeing terms with Brentford and could be announced as their latest signing as early as today.
