Ipswich's fixtures certainly look tough.
What makes you think they certainly look tough?

Granted Norwich (A) and Saints (A) are tough....but as for the others fixtures...

Birmingham & QPR both at home are very much beach opponents - and we've seen against QPR the lack of intensity they showed that day and threw out the red carpet for us...

Then, away games at Pompey, Charlton & West Brom are 3 teams who all occupy a spot in the bottom 6/7....and they're in the bottom 6/7 spots for a very good reason....and when they face Charlton/West Brom - both could well be on the 'beach'.

I don't think for a second they'll go flawless between now and the end of the season, but if they manage to pick up favourable results against Norwich & Southampton, then those remaining fixtures they have are very much winnable.

I think the biggest issue they have is trying to keep their squad fit and fresh......8 games in 27 games is a horrible schedule for anyone.

They've got the greatest depth in quality in the league, so if anyone can do it, it's them 😬

Would it be a huge shock if they lost at both Norwich and Southampton?

I still firmly believe it’s on our hands and for some inexplicable reason I expect us to find some form over the last 7 games.

Nope, not at all.

They're both flying and along with Coventry, all 3 are the most in-form teams in the league.

But those other 5 fixtures Ipswich have (outside their home game against us) are pretty nice.

I do think the schedule is the toughest part of it all though and the lack of time on the training pitch between games can only be an issue.

I have us needing a point at Wrexham to guarantee 2nd, and coincidentally I have Wrexham needing a point to guarantee 6th.

Could be the funniest 0-0 in years!

🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

I had us finishing 4th.

Ipswich 2nd, Southampton 3rd.

Our results

Millwall - W
Swansea - W
Portsmouth - D
Ipswich - L
Sheff Wed - W
Watford - D
Wrexham - D

12 points from 7 games which given our home form is quite likely.

My god I really hope I am overestimating Ipswich and Southampton.

We can torment ourselves but this Easter Period will give a good indication.

Will be a large chunk of teams 'on the beach' as well before long.

Four points of Easter weekend would a solid start.
