Incredible to think this is the same player from 12-18 months ago.
 
Chuba lives in my brother in law's house.

I sent him a photo of him with the trophy this morning and he said..

"our mam went round yesterday to get post and it was on the kitchen table. She should have got a selfie with it!"

Opportunity missed there 😂

Congratulation to the lad.. recognition 2 months running. He's been brilliant.
 
Well down Chuba

I remember all the posts on here writing him off at the start of the season, members on here saying get rid on a free. Some quite experienced posters too.

However I saw something when he came on against QPR in the second game of the season and he changed the game almost. I thought then keep him, he has changed and upped his game. A bit more physical, a bit more aggressive. The Red Faction also got behind him straight away taht day they saw the determination in his eyes and Chuba just blossomed. Without his injury he would be on 20 goals by now.
 
Brilliant story - would have been easy for him to down tools during the Summer when Wilder wasn’t letting him train with the first team.
