1) You can download it for free - perfectly legally as EIDOS gave the copyright up on it. (For those uninitiated, Champ manager is football manager's dad)

2) You can update the database with this seasons players. Most recent update is from October. They are due to release a new database update soon to cover the winter transfer window.


Here are the details, even if one old player gets to enjoy the game again then this post has been worth it :-

the other tweak i like to do to the game - and there's loads available - is to use nicks patcher to resize the game window. I change it to a resolution slightly smaller than my PC screen resolution a run itnin windowed mode, cos the original game window resolution is too small

i used the pre game data editor to move him to Middlesbrough - but didn't bother with the mackems which is why Connelly is on the score sheet. They usually release an update in match / April time so i'll wait till then for the proper update

Does anybody know if this works on the Mac?

I loved this but find the new FM to long winded and boring, want something can easy pic up or put down without spending days sorting stuff. Always takes enjoyment out of it for me

I tried to download it yesterday on the Mac but it didn’t work. However I’m not very tech savvy! Any help if you can download on the Mac would be appreciated.
