Top scorer - Ross Stewart

Surprise package - Stoke City

Way too early to make any confident predictions, but I'll have a go anyway.

Boro
Southampton

Leeds
Sheff Wed
Ipswich
Stoke

Top scorer - whoever ends up as Boro's no.9 will enjoy chances galore and only needs to be a decent finisher to get 20+ goals.

Surprise package - Leicester, as everyone expects them to do well but they'll be forced into a fire sale and suffer a huge relegation hangover.

We are pretty short odds again - 3/1 for promotion or 10/1 to win the Championship in possibly the toughest Championship ever.

I don't think Southampton's squad is good enough now to win the Championship, or get in the Auto Promotion spots, and it's probably going to get a lot worse for them.

Leed's are one or two players (who they will lose) away from being below that level too, and even more so if Bamford keeps getting injured (which he probably will).

My main fear is Leicester, they will lose a fair few players but they're the only real team who came down who really under performed. I think they will manage to convince a few to stay, and they will probably bounce straight back up.
Tielemans will be off, and Maddison will probably want to go to keep his England hopes alive (and he's out of contract next year), can see him going to someone like Newcastle or Villa. They might be able to keep Barnes and Soyuncu, and obvisouly Vardy will stay.

Soyuncu is one of the 7 players out of contract. As is Evans and Amartey. So they're struggling at centre back before they start.

Not a cat in hells chance of Barnes staying. He'll want to be away and they desperately need the money as they won't have access to any parachute payment.

I'm not ruling them out of the promotion race, but they'll have to do some canny business in the market to replace the 12-15 players who will leave over the summer.
