Cash in hand delivering £60-£100 a night 4 hours

Don't know if anyone is interested, takeaway shop looking for drivers in ingleby. You make between 60-100 quid a night, some nights upto 150. Hours are normally 6-10. Just might help someone out till they are sorted
Hopefully it helps someone out Shaboro (y)

Its no wonder working people think there's nothing wrong with the escapades of this government when they are happy to take £150 a day for working and not pay tax on it. If we can be on the fiddle why shouldn't Alexander de Pfefffffel be.
At least the moneys not going to some greasy little foreigner.

Wow!

nice of you trying to shame people that may be trying to make ends meet....

If they are unemployed or low earners they wouldn't get close to the top of their tax allowance anyway.

Perhaps the lad should have been an MP- nothing seems to be said about the millions they syphon off for themselves and their mates but fk me if someone could sneak £150 into their pocket by actually working for it and not stealing it they get hammered for it.

Point out the bit in the original post where it says anything about not paying tax on the cash for me I can't seem to see it?

I don't see anything wrong with earning a bit of cash in hand for this sort of delivery work. I'd hazard a guess that 90% of takeout places have delivery drivers working for them cash in hand, usually youngsters using it for a bit of pocket money whilst at college or uni or maybe even a second or even third job. Why should they be shafted by the taxman for 3 or 4 hours graft?
The money they earn will more than likely be put back into the 'system'.

Loads of people on here will have done cash in hand jobs.

So, you and your 2 mates who liked your comment won't be asking about it. Question, have you never ever done a job in your whole life and someone has passed u an extra 5 or 10 quid.

given the year and a half we’ve all gone through I don’t see this as the biggest crime - a lot of people have had money troubles - if you can make a few quid to get back on your feet then why not.

Could some of the quoted figure be tips - please tell me that tips aren’t taxed!

No, you keep all the tips mate. This would be perfect for a young one and their mate, maybe one does the driving, the other goes to the doors. I was just putting out there if anyone was interested

Not getting involved in the morals of cash in hand.

However you must have business cover on your car insurance, I know some people locally that have been caught out.

Give your head a shake! Your last sentence is embarrassing.

£150 for delivering takeaways how many meals is that - 100? meals say 30 drops?

average meal £6?

that would be £1.50 delivery cost/meal or 25% of the meal for the takeaway

Mind you 30 drops would probably be 6 hours work?

£2 per drop car cost leaves £90 for 6 hours work - not bad and it might be less hours if you can make alot of drops in one journey.

Its legal if you are below tax thresholds and have vehicle insurance for business work. I would gues the takeaway shop doesn't provide insurance cover.

£150 quid a night is hardly in Alexander de Pfefffffel league is it ?
He once described earnings of £250,000 as "Chicken Feed"

When we've been doing takeouts on a Friday night we've done 20 in an hour. Out and out takeout places would easily smash that total

Could any of us, hand on heart, say that when we've handed money over to a joiner or a plasterer or an electrician or a painter & decorator we've known for certain he was going to declare the income for tax purposes?

Live and let live.
