Cases and deaths down for a few days now...

You're not even producing the facts. Have s look at the '9am' thread. There's facts on that.
They're the same ones.

15,000 cases today, a decrease on yesterday and the day before.
136 deaths today, a decrease on yesterday and the day before (and the day before that actually).

We'll find out over the next 3-4 days how many people died today.
Yeah, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays are always lower. I guess Tuesday is a big day, and there will be a rise. But in the initial wave, cases and deaths were still climbing from Tuesday to Friday.

People need to open their eyes....

Manchester (which the government wants to impose more restrictions on!). Burnham just needs to stand up to them with data.

Propaganda from the UK's chief scientific advisor (rising infections, exponential growth, critical point) is disturbing and sinister. It is no longer a public health issue.

I don't know where things are heading but it is not good.

Don't know about Sheffield but you do realise all the other cities on your list are under restrictions. Probably accounts for the drop

Your very first post was an attempt to interpret the figures
It was a deliberately facetious question, with an emoji and no answer given, to open a bit of debate. I’m aware there’s another thread on the subject but it has over 2,000 posts and I haven’t read it since March.

Exactly. As I've explained before, seasonal viruses such as this have a very clear pattern and interventions do nothing. Distancing etc seems to make logical sense but when the cold hard data is plotted it just doesn't matter.

Restrictions are simply not about public health anymore. The things I see happening now I would have thought were completely crazy conspiracy theories until recently.
