Carricks press conference 3pm

Scott coming out swinging!

Little dig at the fans regarding the recruitment and then a massive swipe at Wilder, with him wanting stability which meant 'having a manager that didn't want to move on quickly'.
what did he say re the recruitment?

The recruitment question at 21 mins with the DoF was enlightening in that effectively said the previous Manager wasn't bought into the structure

Something along the lines of.. 'it makes me laugh when I read some of the nonsense and rumours around recruitment and how it works behind the scenes, when nobody really knows when you're on the outside and not working within the club'.

The wording may be different, that's from memory, but it was something like that from Scott.

which is fair enough, we don't. though maybe they should do more to educate us.

Scott also said every player signed is a team decision. Wilder might disagree. Mind if bausor is involved in tbe process of deciding what is a good player then i dont blame managers for grumbling about the process. What a dull personality bausor is. No wonder we struggle to entice players here and get deals done.

We all pick up on different things, and I thought it was interesting when he spoke about the angry Scotsman, Sir Alex.
Don’t know if anyone else picked up on it, but he admitted his own shortcomings in life, which Ferguson changed in him. Possibly a side reference to some of the earlier comments on this thread. Nice to see the lad admitting he welcomed the advice and adapted accordingly.
